The essence of peri-operative nursing within our Theatre and Endoscopy departments is to provide a safe and caring environment for all patients. Operating Department nurses have the specialised skills and technical knowledge to implement programmes of patient care. Skilled peri-operative nursing assistance is provided to the patient, Consultant Surgeons and Anaesthetists, as part of the multi-disciplinary team.

Our Radiology Department is equipped with a modern X-Ray Machine integrated with a Computed Radiography (CR) System, offering accurate and efficient diagnostic imaging services.
Computed Radiography is a digital imaging process that replaces traditional film-based X-rays. Instead of film, we use a special imaging plate that captures the X-ray image digitally. This plate is then scanned by a CR reader to produce high-quality images.

Ultrasound of the heart is commonly called an “echocardiogram” or “echo” for short.
A 2D echocardiogram provides your physician with information like the functioning of your heart, diagnosing the malfunctions, if any, and planning the treatment for the developing disease.
2D Echocardiogram is done to detect the following heart conditions:
Any underlying heart diseases or abnormalities
Congenital heart diseases and blood clots or tumours
Malfunctioning of the heart valve
Abnormality of blood flow within the heart
During a 2D echocardiography procedure, a healthcare provider will place a small transducer on the patient’s chest. The transducer sends and receives high-frequency sound waves, which create an image of the heart utilising an advanced 2D echo machine. The images are displayed on a screen, allowing the healthcare provider to evaluate the heart’s size, shape, and function.
Nidhi Hospital is a tertiary referral centre for general nephrology, dialysis, renal transplantation and interventional nephrology. It offers a comprehensive care for a complete range of kidney diseases which include evaluation and management of acute kidney injury and chronic kidney disease, pre renal transplant evaluation and post renal transplant care and management of end stage renal failure.
Various procedures available in the nephrology department include ultrasonography examination of the kidneys and vascular access, realtime ultrasonography guided insertion of non cuffed haemodialysis catheters, and realtime ultrasonographic guided kidney biopsy (normal and plugged kidney biopsies).
